My first IELTS essay Task As there is increasing unemployment in the world, while at the same time those who have jobs are working harder and harder, it would be better to have 4 day working weeks for everyone, and so create more jobs. What is your opinion about this? With the challenges of the modern economy, many people have to cope with heavier workload, while others struggle to find just any employment. In my opinion, a solution to introduce 4 day working weeks for all would be largely inefficient in addressing unemployment and would lower the standards of living. Fewer working days for everyone would give jobs to some, but make redundant others. Admittedly, the former staff would have more rest while new people were sharing their jobs.
